The EPONA Approach Workshops

Charting Your Own Course

September 24, 25 & 26, 2010

How often have you said to yourself “I wish I could go back and do it all over again”?

In this workshop, you will learn how to direct your life from your true self.  From this place of authenticity, you will forge ahead full of confidence seeking the synergies created when you reclaim your ability to feel and think with the heart.

We are honoured to have Kathleen Barry Ingram, MA join us here in Toronto for this transformative workshop. Kathleen is a Tucson-based life coach, lecturer and educator specializing in assisting individuals in personal/professional growth and facilitated equine experiential learning (FEEL). Kathleen began her journey working with horses as co-facilitators in personal development, learning from the pioneer in equine facilitated learning, Barbara Rector, who developed and facilitated the Adolescent Program at Sierra Tucson (an internationally acclaimed center for the treatment of addictions). Through her association with Barbara, she met Linda Kohanov (The Epona Approach™). Kathleen and Linda worked together for nine years co-creating and developing workshops and the Epona apprenticeship program. Kathleen continues to teach and train others as she travels internationally, bringing the wisdom of the horse to help us live consciously in the present moment.

Kathleen will lead us into ‘changing channels’ from the brain to the heart and experiencing the profound changes in our physiology as we exchange Thinking for Sensing. We will shift into a different perceptual state working with the heart as the organ of perception and cognition. The horses naturally live their lives from this place of the heart and are coming forward to assist us on our path towards spiritual evolution.

With the horse you will:

  • Reclaim your ability to feel and think from the heart
  • Acknowledge and embrace your authentic self
  • Redevelop your capacity for heart-centered cognition and intelligence
  • Connect to the sacred intelligence of the universe

Activities will include: Customized horse activities, shamanic drumming journeys, sweatlodge ceremony, mounted horse journey ride, interpersonal and intrapersonal dynamics, and expressive art activities all through the way of the horse.

Learn how partnering with horses helps us come back to our hearts and our own spirit.

No riding experience is required.
